This README.TXT covers information that was not yet known or
available when the user documentation shipped with this product
was written. It includes update information, additional
installation instructions, limitations to the current version of
the product, and suggestions to solve known issues or problems.

1.  SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION

1.1 About this software
    The RG Profile Manager can be installed on any computer running
    the MS-Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 or XP Operating System.

1.2 Files Installed
    The following files will be installed in the specified
    directory:

    *   MCLUC.EXE             RG Profile Manager
    *   MCLUC.HLP             RG Profile Manager Help info
    *   MCLUC.CNT             RG Profile Manager Help Contents
    *   CMPSRV.TXT            Sample expect string file		
    *   CRPRT.TXT             Sample expect string file		
    *   README.TXT            this file
    *   LICENSE.TXT           End User License Agreement

2.  SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

2.1 Operating System
    To install and run the Client Manager you will need the
    Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000 or XP Operating System.

2.2 Free Disk Space
    The installation of the Client Manager requires a
    free disk space of approximately 500 KB.

3.1 Version 1.14              Winter 2002
    - The readme.tx file is not always shown anymore at the end of the
    installation. Instead the user has to options to start the Profile
    Manager and to read the readme.txt file.
    - Comma's in the dial strings are now forwarded to the RG1000	
    - Problem with tray icon menu: help-contents solved.
    - When no transfer the value bytes/sec value show in the status
      screen is 0.

4.  INSTALLATION NOTES

4.1 Standard Installation
    Please refer to the 'Getting Started Guide' or 'User's
    Guide' that came with your product.

    The Client Manager installation is managed via an
    installation wizard.
    You can choose to start the installation wizard by
    double-clicking the setup.exe file which can be found:
    - On your ORiNOCO CD-ROM in the folder:
       \Software\PC_Card\RGMC
    - If you did download an update from the Web site, in the
       directory you specified during the extraction of the
       downloaded file.

    The installation wizard will automatically install the
    program files in the following directory on the hard disk
    of your computer:
        C:\Program Files\Orinoco\RG Profile Manager
    Optionally you may choose to select another folder or
    hard disk drive for installation of the RG Profile Manager.

4.2 Removing the RG profile Manager
    To remove the RG profile Manager from your system, proceed
    as follows:
    1) Click the "Start" button on your Windows task bar,
       point to "Settings" and select "Control Panel".
    2) In the Control Panel window, double-click the
       "Add/Remove" icon to display the "Add/Remove
       Program Properties" window.
    3) Scroll down the list of applications in the 
       lower section of the "Install/Uninstall" tab, and
       select the item RG Profile Manager.
    4  Next click the "Add/Remove" button, and follow the
       instructions on your screen.
